Gilbert W. (Gil) Morris
Manager/Funeral Director/Embalmer
Gil grew up in Ralston,Oklahoma and graduated from Ralston High School in 1967. He was first employed by Grace Memorial Chapel at the age of 18. Gil later served in the United States Air Force and then was employed in farm implement sales. He now has been associated with Grace Memorial Chapel since 1984. Gil was named manager of Grace Memorial Chapel in 1990 and completed mortuary school at the University of Central Oklahoma in1992. Gil's wife is Sandy, and they have two sons, Loy, also a funeral director, and Scott, a college basketball coach. The couple also has five precious grandchildren. The couple are members of the First Baptist Church of Ponca City.

Brenda S. Thorpe
Office Administrator/ Pre-Arrangement Counselor
Brenda was born and raised in Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School in 1971. She has been employed with Grace Memorial Chapel for 21 years and has been a licensed insurance agent for 9 years. Brenda's husband is Gary and she has five children, Jennifer, Christina, Ray, Vicki and Mark, and nine grandchildren. She has served on the Ponca City Humane Society Board of Directors and she enjoys bowling.

Kim E. Scholey
Evening Receptionist
Kim was born in Maine and moved with her family to Oklahoma in 1992. She graduated from Ponca City High School and Northen Oklahoma College-Tonkawa. Kim's husband is Fred and they have 3 dogs, Charlee, Jimmy and Roscoe. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephews and her many friends. She also enjoys embroidery, working jigsaw puzzles and scrapbooking

June was born in Forres, Scotland and has lived in Oklahoma since 1992. Her husband is Duke and they have 2 children, Kenneth and Kim and 3 grandchildren, Kevin, Daisy and Aidan. June is a volunteer with the Extra Eyes team for the Ponca City Police Department and is a member of the Xi Beta Tau Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. When not working various jobs, June enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, walking, gardening, working crossword puzzles and reading.

Susan Skinner Ladner

Susan has been employed with Grace Memorial Chapel since 2003. Susan is a native Ponca Citian who has lived here her entire life. She graduated from Po-Hi in 1969. Susan is also employed with the Department of Human Services as a DDSD Case Manager II. She has two children, a son, Zac and his wife, Kendra, and a daughter, Holly. Susan has two grandsons, Braden Deroy and Riley Cole.

David W. Cheek
Funeral Service Attendant
David is a native of Liberty, Indiana. He was employed 22 years as a finance manager with the Boeing Aircraft Co. of Wichita, Kansas. David and his wife Patricia lived in Wellington, Kansas several years prior to moving to Ponca City in 2006. The couple are members of the First Assembly of God Church of Ponca City. David's enjoyments include playing golf, working in their garden and most recently, oil painting.

Guy L. Lyall
Funeral Service Attendant
Guy was born in Maizie, Oklahoma and raised in Tonkawa attending Tonkawa Schools. He graduated from Northern Oklahoma College and Oklahoma Baptist University. Guy is married to Lois and they have two children and four grandchildren. The couple is active in the First Baptist Church of Ponca City. Guy served as minister of music in Baptist churches in Oklahoma for 20 years and owned the Guy Lyall Insurance Agency of Tonkawa for 24 years.
