Adam Molinar Pena Sr. passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on November 2, 1952, he will be remembered as a man who had a big heart, strong work ethic, and enduring sense of humor. Those who knew him cherished his positive outlook on life, his advice, his many sayings, and the laugh and smile that brought warmth to the people around him. His beautiful blue eyes could also light up a room.
Adam found joy in traveling and being outdoors. He enjoyed working on vehicles, working his land in Mexico, and, above all, spending time with his family. His proudest accomplishments were his grandchildren and seeing his daughters continue their education, a reflection of the deep pride he carried for his family and their future.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Maria Lorena Pena and his children Anel Pena, Adam Pena Jr., Ivan Pena, Edgar Pena, Lidise Pena, Amber Pena, and Jonathan Pena. He also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Adam is also survived by his brothers Roque, Raul, Rafael, and Jorge, and by his sister Eva.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Oscar Pena, Atanacio Pena, and by his sister Irene Pena. He will be remembered with love by all who were blessed to know him, and his memory will continue to live on in the lives of his family and in the lessons, laughter, and love he shared so generously.
Visitation will be held on October 5, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Grace Memorial Chapel, 2016 N 14th St, Ponca City, OK 74601. A Rosary will follow that same evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on October 6, 2026, 10:00 AM at Grace Memorial Chapel, followed by interment at Longwood Cemetery, Longwood Rd, Ponca City, OK 74604.
