Antoinette LeClair
Antoinette LeClair passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020, in Ponca City at the age of 66. She was born January 6, 1954 in Pawnee to Antoine LeClair and Marie Buffalohead. Antoinette grew up in the Tulsa and Ponca City areas.
Antoinette enjoyed sharing stories about and spending time with her favorite grandson, Joseph. She could spend hours telling you what he was up to. She went to many a Pow-Wow and spent countless hours playing Bingo or visiting the Casino.
Left to cherish her memory are her son; Michael Joseph and his wife Brenda Brown, numerous grandchildren to include Joseph and Taylor, and her sister Tina Youker. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Michael LeClair, and sisters, Irene LeClair and Judy LeClair.
She was a proud member of the Ponca Nation. A traditional noon feast will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Center. Following, will be the Funeral Service in her honor with Pastor Jimmy White presiding. She will then be laid to rest in the Ponca Indian Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Joe Brown, Charles Warrior, Elsworth Eagle, Joseph Brown, Fred Warrior, Lamont Warrior, William Daugohmah, and Harrison Daugohmah.
