Bettie Christy

Bettie Fae Christy was born on January 31, 1927 in Muskogee, Oklahoma and spent her adult years in Ponca City until moving to Tallahassee, Florida to be near her daughter. Bettie donated her body to science, but her spirit went to be with her Lord on September 15th of last year, and she now plays the piano and sings even more beautifully in Heaven than she did here on earth. Bettie is survived by her two children, Rodney Christy of Oklahoma City, and Cathy Westberry of Tallahassee; her grandchildren, Harrison, Christy and J.P., and great-grandson, Taylor. A memorial service for Bettie Fae Christy will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Grace Memorial Chapel. Her children will receive friends and relatives at that time.
