Donna L. Walker, beloved mother, friend, and cherished member of the Ponca City community passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 87. Donna was born on January 25, 1938, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She returned to call this beautiful place home throughout her life after living in Corpus Christi, Texas, North Dakota and the Washington D.C. area.

After graduating high school in 1957, Donna attended Ponca City Business College and went on to dedicate her life to caring for others as a Nurses Aide. Her compassion and kindness shone brightly in all her interactions, leaving a lasting impact on both patients and colleagues. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and unwavering support for those around her.

Donna loved dancing and going to her brother Don's dances. She also enjoyed vacations to Silver Dollar City, playing board and card games, boat rides, and counting hawks on car rides. Donna also loved watching football, especially the Washington Redskins (Commanders).

Most importantly, Donna was a wonderful mother to her daughter, Linda Shriner. Their bond was beautiful, a testament to the love and strength they shared. Donna valued family above all and took great joy in every moment spent with loved ones.

Donna is survived by her daughter Linda Shriner, two brothers, Don A. Long (Fran) and Stanley P. Long (Linda), sister Judith Feather (John W.), grandchildren Brendon Shriner and Kandice Duncan, and great grandchildren Bradyn Duncan and Paityn Duncan.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents Paul Long Jr. and Viola Revard.

Funeral services are under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held at Grace Memorial Chapel Monday, December 1, 2025, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with family in attendance. Graveside services will take place Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 10:00am, at Odd Fellows Cemetery, in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
