Elaine Sue Dailey Huch, 68, was received into our Lord’s arms August 21st 2020, Elaine was a woman not easily forgotten.
From her work with the Otoe Missouria tribe’s suicide prevention program, she would ensure those during their darkest moments of despair that there is hope. Her love and pride for her people, culture, and beliefs was a driving force for her service to give back, guiding younger generations, helping to keep native customs alive. Elaine served as MSPI Project Director for the Otoe Missouria as well as Kaw Nation Chair in 2014.
Elaine was born 5/9/52 in Pawnee, OK. In 1978 she met Thomas Huch and married in 1980, moving to Rowlett, TX, to start a family where she remained for over 30 years. Survived by 3 children, Jennifer Huch Crocker, sons David Caleb Huch and Michael Thomas Huch. She is remembered by son in law Paul Crocker, daughter in law Ayron Leisure Huch and two amazing grandchildren whom she adored, Trevor and Valerie Huch.
Moving back to Oklahoma to tend and care for her father and uncle, she remained there sharing her love and services to all she encountered until her final days.
You touched our hearts and warmed our souls
With confidence in all your roles.
We love hellos and hate goodbyes
We love you Mom,
With tear filled eyes.
Our time was short
Our time was sweet
One day again
Our souls will meet.
I miss you Mom,
I always will.
Forget you Mom,
We never will.
Thank you Lord
For the gift of our Mother,
From a son, a daughter,
A sister, a brother.
We say goodbye just once again
In Jesus name, we pray
Amen.
