Hans Conrad Kuhr, 58, a devoted father, brother, uncle, and proud Army veteran, passed away on June 28, 2024, in Ponca City, OK. He was born on November 24, 1965, in San Bernadino, CA to Alvin and Helen (Fredrickson) Kuhr.
Throughout his life, Hans exemplified dedication and commitment in all his endeavors. Serving in the Army for 8 years, he was a Desert Storm Veteran who held his military service close to his heart with immense pride. Following his time in the military, Hans dedicated 16 years as a security guard at Tonkawa and 7 Clans casinos.
In addition to his dedication to family and country, Hans found joy in simple pleasures. He loved spending time outdoors camping and fishing. Books were also a companion to him, as he enjoyed reading and challenging his mind with Sudoku puzzles. Hans also shared a special bond with his son Sebastian through their weekly cribbage games.
Those left behind to cherish Hans’ memory are his sons Nathanial and wife Ann Kuhr, Donavan and wife Lindsey Kuhr; his brother Andrew Scott Kuhr; his grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved son Sebastian, and his nephew.
A memorial service will be on Monday, July 15th, 2024, 10 a.m., at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
Hans will be remembered for his kindness, strength of character, and unwavering love for his family. Though he may no longer be with us physically, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
