John Tillman DeRoin, born on September 16, 1958 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away on July 19, 2026 in Red Rock, Oklahoma. His life was marked by devotion to family and many joyful moments shared with loved ones.

John was a man known for his straightforward nature, his easy laughter, and above all, his deep love for his family. Those who knew him best will remember his unwavering care for those around him and a heart that was always open.

Among John's greatest joys was time spent with his children. He loved watching football and playing catch with them, building lasting memories through simple pleasures. A familiar scene in his home was the sight of his family delighting in watching him dance to music—moments filled with laughter and a genuine sense of togetherness.

John is preceded in death by his mother, Alene DeRoin, and his father, Norman DeRoin Sr., his sister Lynn DeRoin, and his son, Elden DeRoin. 

He is survived by his two brothers Farrell and Norman DeRoin, son Frank DeRoin, and daughter Santana DeRoin.

John Tillman DeRoin’s family and friends grieve his passing but find comfort in recalling the laughter, love, and wisdom he shared so generously during his lifetime.
