Karen Sue Kemble, born July 22, 1961 in Phoenix, Arizona was called to the promised land to walk with Jesus, her Lord & Savior, on February 9, 2022 at the age of 60 years. Karen worked several years For the Oklahoma State Corporation Commission in the Jim Thorpe building until her health deprived her of work and retired. She was raised from the age oh 2, and a resident in Midwest City, Oklahoma amongst immediate family, becoming a single & loving parent to her 3 children after a brief marriage to Leroy Onzahwah.

Karen enjoyed life and loved her family dearly. She was a big George Strait fan attending numerous concerts of his. She liked to travel, go to pow-wows, hang out with friends, and cooking for family celebrations. She loved to celebrate Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter. She gave her life to Christ and went to church at Friends Quaker Church in McCloud OK, Life Church in Midwest City, and most recently Angie Smith United Methodist in Oklahoma City, OK. She loved reading her bible and teaching the word to her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephew. She liked to watch Daystar & TBN.

Karen is preceded in death by her father, John Lee Kemble, paternal grandparents, Willie & May (Horse Chief Eagle) Kemble and Jackson & Loula Mae (Cunningham) McCarty, numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.

Karen is survived by and will be extremely missed by 3 children, Rachel R Onzahwah & partner David Stinson, David L. Onzahwah & wife Linda Onzahwah, and her youngest whom she resided with, Annabell K Onzahwah, her grandbabies, Ticalvin, Glorious, Davania, Chloe, and Hailia Onzahwah, Raylinn Downard, and Ethan Stinson. Also nieces, Tracy Davis & partner John Staggs, Rozina Davis & partner Jason York, Shenena Davis & partner Erik Niesen, great nephews, Grason & fiancee Keely, Gavin and girlfriend Julie, Corbin, Cainan, Zack, Jaden & Samuel. One great niece, Aryah and a great great nephew Leon Palos.

Karen is also survived by her Mother Maurine  (McCarty) Kemble of Midwest City, two sisters Kathy (Kemble) Davis & husband Charles Davis of Midwest City, Kay Kemble of Midwest City, two brothers, Karl Kemble & wife Wilma of Duncan Okla., and Kevin Kemble of Atlanta Georgia, numerous family & friends. We will grieve the loss of Karen then celebrate her earthly walk with God.

There will be a wake service held Monday February 14 at 7:00 PM, and funeral services to be held Tuesday, February 15, at 2 PM.

Presiding over services will be pastor Brandon Kemble, pastor Jim White and Pastor Alvin Deerat the Ponca City Indian Baptist church
