Lauramily Fonseca-Hogue left this world on June 15th, 2025 at 42 years old. She was born in Havana Cuba on April 9th, 1983. Lauramily’s childhood brought her to Miami, Costa Rica, and Tulsa. She found her home in Ponca City as she entered high-school when her family’s service to the Church of Christ brought them to Oklahoma.
Lauramily excelled in Choral and Marching Band and used the musical abilities she learned to serve the Lord and empower her step-daughters. She studied behavioral science in college with the hope of helping those left injured by the injustices of this world. Lauramily was bold and genuine in spirit trying many ways to earn bread and create beauty. She studied nursing and compassionately cared for our sick and elderly. She sacrificed to apprentice as a tattoo artist and lived life on her terms creating freelance art for honest people. She embraced the American Dream and bet it all to build a farm to provide medicine for the sick. Her legacy endures on the skin and walls of her customers for whom she cared so greatly for. Lauramily was spared no hardship in her life, but remained honest and compassionate with a reverence for life even as hers was cut short.
She is survived by her husband. Joseph Hogue of Ponca City, Oklahoma; her son Adon Cornelsen of Blackwell, Oklahoma; her son Lucius Cornelsen of Ponca City, Oklahoma; her three step-daughters Dawn, Pearl, and Robin Hogue of Ponca City, Oklahoma; and her brothers Kevin and Kenneth Fonseca of Ponca City, Oklahoma.
