Leda Joann Green-SpottedCrow was born May 16, 1954 to Ralph SpottedCrow and Alma Pettit Warrior in Pawnee Ok. On Saturday December 27, Leda passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. She graduated from Western Heights HS in Oklahoma City then went on to study dental hygiene at Haskell Institute. You could find Leda at tribal dances across Oklahoma on weekends. She had a passion for sewing and crafting. Her favorite time of the year was always Otoe-Missouria Summer Encampment, she was one of the first campers to set up and one of the last to leave. She was also an avid fan of college football, OKC Thunder, but especially tennis. Leda's greatest joys were her children, grandchildren, and mostly her GGs.
Leda is survived by her children Stephanie and Jason Black of Red Rock, Anna and Sanford Youngbear of Perkins, Lisa and Lee Ross of Red Rock, Devin and Mike Ousley of Cordell, Tushka Hill, Ramona Gipson, Vernon SpottedCrow, Breanna Larney all of Sasakwa, Thomas SpottedCrow of Tahlequah, and Crystal Romero of Red Rock. Leda had 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Leda is also survived by brothers Otis Wayne Warrior and Preston Warrior, sisters Carla Sanders and Susan Fisher.
Leda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Thomas and Lelus SpottedCrow, Troy Warrior, son Lelus SpottedCrow Jr, and infant daughter Patricia Lynn.
Services will be held Sunday and Monday evenings with the traditional meal and service Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 12:00pm with burial to follow at the Otoe-Missouria Cemetery in Red Rock, Oklahoma.
