Michael Ralph Geheb, 71, a longtime resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away on September 18, 2026.

Mike was born on November 20, 1954, to Ralph George Geheb and Betty Jo Geheb of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is now reunited in Heaven with his parents, who were awaiting their son. He is survived by his sister, Teresa McMains, and her husband, Jim McMains; and his brother, Pat Geheb.

Mike graduated from high school in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and later earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Arkansas Tech University. He began his career with ConocoPhillips in 1976 and enjoyed more than 30 years of dedicated service with the company. He concluded his career as director of infrastructure at the refinery in Ponca City, Oklahoma. His responsibilities included overseeing the refineries in Ponca City, Lake Charles Louisiana, Borger Texas, and Sweeny Texas.

On July 9, 1977, Mike married his longtime sweetheart, Gail Geheb, Together, they built a beautiful life and raised three sons: Michael Barry of El Reno, married to Jaci Geheb; Kyle Allen of El Reno, Oklahoma, married to Vannessa Geheb; and Kelsey Blake of Ponca City, Oklahoma, married to Jessica Geheb.

Mike was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren, whom he loved more than words can express: Lawson, 16, and Harper, 14, children of Barry and Jaci; and Everlee, 8, and Montgomery 5, children of Kyle and Vannessa.

One of Mike’s greatest joys was watching his grandchildren grow. He loved following Lawson and Harper to their softball games and cheering them on from the stands. He took just as much joy in spending time with Everlee and Montgomery, enjoying their energy, laughter, and the simple moments that made being a grandfather so special.

Mike was a man who believed in family, hard work, helping others, and being a servant of the Lord. He was a loving husband, a devoted father, a proud grandfather, and a friend to many. He was the kind of person people could count on and never hesitated to lend a hand when someone needed help. Whether he was building ramps to help people access their homes or building homes through Habitat for Humanity, Mike was always putting others before himself.

Outside of work, Mike enjoyed spending time with God and his family. He loved being involved in the lives of those he cared about. Whether he was watching his grandchildren play, spending time with Gail, helping someone in need, or simply enjoying time with family, Mike found his greatest happiness in the people around him.

Mike leaves behind a legacy that will live on through his wife, his sons, his grandchildren, his siblings, and all those whose lives he touched. His family will forever cherish the memories, lessons, laughter, and love he gave them.

He will be deeply missed, but his family finds comfort in knowing that he is now at peace and reunited with those who went before him.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Grace Memorial Chapel, 2016 N 14th St, Ponca City, Oklahoma. Habitat for Humanity Personnel may come for a small visitation between 12:00-1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, 2:00pm at Albright United Methodist Church, 128 S Palm Street, Ponca City, Oklahoma, 74601.
