Micheal Lee Perrigo

Micheal Lee Perrigo (Pratt), passed away on December 1, 2025. He was born August 11, 1968, in Thornton, Colorado, to Virgil Charles Pratt and Connie L. Carr, lived a life defined by heart, humor, and an unmistakable love for people.

Micheal spent his childhood in Pawhuska, Oklahoma; Independence, Missouri; and Oklahoma City, where he attended U.S. Grant High School and distinguished himself as a standout wrestler. From an early age, he was larger than life—always smiling, always upbeat, and always making those around him feel seen and valued.

A true free spirit, Micheal rarely stayed in one place for long, embracing life as a journey rather than a destination. At the time of his passing, he was in Denver, Colorado, where he was deeply loved by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Micheal was very proud of his Native American heritage. He was Osage and Otoe. He was known to many of his friends in Denver as “Osage”.

Music was one of Micheal’s great passions. A drummer at heart, he left his mark—quite literally—on nearly every surface in the family home with his drumsticks. Whether playing along to Van Halen, Rush, or The Outfield, or air-drumming with infectious enthusiasm, music was his joy and his release.

Though Micheal faced challenges in life, he never allowed them to define him. He met adversity with resilience and compassion, always giving his whole heart to those he loved and extending kindness even to complete strangers. His greatest gift was his ability to make everyone feel important, welcome, and loved.

Micheal will be profoundly missed and forever remembered for his generous spirit, boundless energy, and unwavering love.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Sierra Dragoo; his cherished grandsons, Greysin and Samson Dragoo; his mother, Connie Patton of Wichita, Kansas; his sisters, Elizabeth (DJ) of Charleroi, Pennsylvania, and Danielle (Charlie) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and his nieces and nephews Ryan, Wachō, Lindsey, Kaylin, Kane, and Charli. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Charles Pratt, lovingly known as “Charlie Bear.”
