Rosa “Rosie” Ann Coffee passed away on September 19, 2026, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She was born on January 7, 1940, in Bennington, Oklahoma to Ruth and Stanley Simanek. Rosie will be remembered as a loving and giving person whose warmth, kindness, and enjoyment of being with others left a lasting impression on those who knew her.

A great source of pride and joy in Rosie’s life was her 67-year marriage to her husband, Robert “Bob” Coffee. They were married on June 22, 1958, and shared a remarkable life together. Rosie was deeply devoted to her family and community, and she filled her days with the things she loved most. Rosie loved to quilt and sew, take pictures, and stay involved in the community. She loved bingo and treasured time spent at the Senior Citizens Center in Newkirk. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She found special happiness in gathering with friends and family and was known for her sociable spirit. Some of the most cherished memories of her life were the trips to War Eagle and Beaver Lake, the time spent at the Walnut Valley Festival, and the family memories made there year after year. Those moments of togetherness reflected so much of who Rosie was: someone who loved deeply, gave generously, and delighted in sharing life with the people around her.

Rosie was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Simanek; her mother, Ruth Simanek; her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Coffee and her cherished sisters.

She is survived by her nephews, Steve Gardner, and his wife, Karen Gardner ,and Mark Dummer along with nieces, Tammi Gardner, Michelle Johnson, Stefanie Throneberry ,and Hannah Dummer, as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Their lives were enriched by Rosie’s love, her generous heart, and the many memories they shared together, and her presence will continue to be felt in the family she cherished so dearly.

Visitation will be held on September 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel, 2016 N 14th St, Ponca City, Oklahoma. A funeral service will be held on September 25, 2026, 2:00 PM at First Christian Church - Newkirk, 301 W 9th St, Newkirk, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, 1900 E Hubbard Rd, Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Rosie’s life was marked by devotion, fellowship, creativity, and love. She will be remembered with deep affection and gratitude by all who were blessed to know her.
