Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12th at 2:00PM at Sperry Community of Christ Church, 202 W Main St, Sperry, OK. Burial site located in Sperry Rest Haven Cemetery, 1609 W 103rd St N, Sperry, OK.

Sharee Kay Staggs-Dion, 78, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 7, 2026.

Born on September 25, 1947, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to the late Billy Boyd and Mary Catherine Berry. Sharee graduated from Wichita High School in June 1965. Alson Paul Staggs married Sharee in December 1965 before he served in Korea, and their son Christopher Mark Staggs was born during this time. Together they built a home where Sharee was a devoted mother and grandmother “Nana”. Sharee got to raise her twin granddaughters at home as well. After her husband, Paul, had passed away on October 22, 1992, Sharee married Bob Keene who was always there to help her raise her granddaughters. Together they had a loving home and enjoyed many years together. Lastly, Sharee married Dennis Dion where she kept their home in Ponca City, OK.

Sharee had always been an avid housewife, but also she spent many years working. Helping out with her parent’s rental house company and running a rental house company of her husband’s. Sharee and Bob later moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas to run a resort-style senior living residence. Sharee took care of others. She was always a friend and a loving soul. She gave everything she had for her family. She treasured every moment spent with them, providing a warm and loving home.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Dion of Ponca City; her son, Christopher Mark Staggs of Tulsa; her two granddaughters, Andrea (Robert) Scott of Beggs, and Jessica Woody of Bixby; and five great grand child, Bobby, Lydia, Emily, Ethan, and Alex Scott; her sister, Robin (Bob) Eubank of Edmond, and her brother, Bobby (Mary Jo) Berry of Spring Hill, Kansas; and many beloved nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Alson Paul Staggs and Bob Keene, by her parents, Billy Boyd and Mary Catherine Berry, and by her sister, Mary Lynn Hammond.
