Sherdain Jackson

“Sherry” Sherdain Jackson, passed on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024. Born August 31st, 1949, to Floyd and Barbara Thompson in Ponca City with brothers, Chester “Corky” Thompson, and Clayton Thompson in the home.

Surviving her are nieces and nephews, Ivan Thompson, Paul Thompson, Lori Thompson, Rebecca Bouchard, and Francis Smith.

Also, her cousins, Jody and Jack McBride, Dewayne McBride, James McBride, Janie “Gussy” Self, Betty Jones, Leland Jones, and Buck Jones.

Sherry worked for the Ponca City School District as a custodian for 36 years, most of that time at the High School, and her latter years at East Junior High School.

She also had a janitorial service she owned and operated for 35 years.

She made many friends over the years and made a difference in many lives.

Her loyalty was unmatched.

A cremation will take place under the guidance of Grace Memorial Chapel.

A memorial service will be held by the family Saturday, July 13th, 2024, at 2 pm at the Carolyn Renfro Event Center, 445 Fairview Ave, Ponca City, Oklahoma.
