Thunder Weasel Bear

July 15, 1997 — June 17, 2019

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thunder Brey Weasel Bear of Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was only 21 years old. Traditional tribal services will be held at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Center in White Eagle. The services will start with taking him to White Eagle leaving the funeral home at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Thursday night an all-night wake will be held in his remembrance. Friday will conclude with a noon feast, give away, and funeral service followed by burial at the Ponca Tribal Cemetery. The family asks that you please wear red, black or purple to the funeral. The purple is for epilepsy awareness due to that being the cause of his death.
