Vicky Lynn Owens

Vicky Lynn Owens, age 74, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in Ponca City on April 8, 2026. She was born on March 16, 1952, to Betty Bloxsom (Burns-Smith) and Leonard Burns, who preceded her in death.

Vicky shared a lifelong love story with her husband, Mike Owens. The childhood sweethearts were together for 58 years, building a life centered on love, family, and devotion to one another. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Vicky will be remembered for her dedication to her family. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, comfort, and togetherness, and her cooking will be remembered as one of the many ways she cared for those she loved. Vicky spent many years working at Lowe’s in the flower department, a job that perfectly matched her love for flowers and her passion for bringing beauty to those around her. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Vicky is survived by her loving husband, Mike Owens. Her three sons and their families: Richard Owens, Don Owens (wife Rhonda Owens), and Lance Owens (wife Amy Owens). Her grandchildren: Tara Owens, husband Matt Bristow and son Dilan; Kali Owens, Trevor Owens, Nathan Owens, and Elayna Owens. Her two great-grandchildren Jordan and Jaydee, and her twin brother, Ricky Burns. As well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both her mother and father; her brothers, Gary Burns and Larry Burns; and her sister, Linda Burns-Griffin.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Grace Memorial Chapel with come and go for friends starting at 11am, the family will be present to receive guests that evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. All services will take place at Grace Memorial Chapel in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Vicky Lynn Owens will be forever loved, deeply missed, and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
